Summer in the Central Valley

This whole batch was $5.00!

I don't much care for canned peaches, and we don't eat a lot of jam. Not a big fan of cobbler/crisp/crumble.

Any other ideas?

Wow, all that for $5? I have no recipe ideas for you. My only idea is that I come out there and help you eat them.

GIVE THEM BACK! You just wasted $5 if you are not going to eat them, stew them, bottle them, make em into jam......

Slice, freeze, enjoy with cream... :) or don't even freeze and enjoy with cream. Muffins? You could take some bananas and make smoothies. If you have an ice cream maker/ball, they make incredible ice cream... mmmm :craves:

Holy crap, fruit bonanza. I'd just eat them straight up, let the juices fall where they may. Or maybe cut into chunks with a tiny bit of sugar sprinkled over. Or swirled with a glob of fat-free Cool Whip. Maybe combined with some other variety of fruit. Oh man. Peaches.

I second the call to freeze them. You'll have the taste of summer peaches all winter long- my favorite is a peach/raspberry/banana/soymilk smoothie.
